The Repot

Not to be confused with Mine Ops’ “Repo” (repository), The Colonia Depot, or The Derpot

The Repot is a store located between New Hope and Russel Square, next to jetpackjbd’s main residence. It is owned and maintained by jetpackjbd. The name comes from a portmanteaux of “The Depot” and “Repossession”, which no longer makes sense as of the rebranding.

About

The store is a lower-cost alternative to the Depot and forgoes the Poko system, however it has severely limited stock and item types.

Design

The building’s exterior takes strong inspiration from The Depot, however it is made of spruce and dark oak planks rather than acacia and birch planks. It is a story less and half the length of The Depot. There is no basement feature either.

History

The purpose of the building was originally to “repossess” structures from nearby buildings and hold them for a small ransom under the premises that the owner has missed loan payments, however on 3/2/24 CrownPrince requested the building be shut down and be used for something else, after the top of his tower was repossessed. The idea for a Depot ”copy” came as a result of the switch to Pokos and increased sales prices.

The Repot is currently undergoing its transformation to a Depot competitor, however few items are for sale and no sales have been made as of writing. Unlike The Depot, there is no way to pay directly with Pokos, and uses only Emeralds. 2 ATMs are located by the entrance for converting Pokos to Emeralds if necessary.
