The Community Greenhouse is, as the name suggests, a greenhouse open publicly to the server community. It was built in mid-2024 by [[MidnightxPlayer]], as one of his last completed projects on the server before his aerosol addiction left him mentally incapacitated.

Inside the building are many farms which may be harvested and replanted by server members, as well as storage for seeds and related items.

The name comes from its primary use as a Kelp farm, which can be used as a renewable fuel in furnaces. It’s designed to resemble a power station and includes models of a battery pack and steam generator. The site is part of the Doggerland Debacle; a land claim disagreement between [[jetpackjbd]] and [[MidnightxPlayer]] in 2023. It is similar to [[Mine Ops]] as it is a corporation owned by a single player with territories across the map, however the owners of the two companies have had legal disputes in the past.

The 2024 Wiki Spam was an incident where the Colonia Wiki was bombarded by bot accounts generating 50+ new pages and a modified main page with AI-written material regarding unrelated topics from Late December of 2023 through early morning of February 29th, 2024. All posts were taken down and all accounts were banned by [[J0w03L]] noon of the 29th.
The content of the posts were mostly written as fake news articles on random topics, often with cryptocurrency website links embedded. It is unclear what the purpose of the spam was, as the links appeared to be fake or unrelated to the topics. Many of the hyperlinks were randomly added to articles and titled in a format of buzzword-sexualword (ex: crypto porn).

[[Jetpackjbd]] and [[ButterH2]] both modified some of the articles while waiting for them to be removed by a forum moderator. A few screenshots of spam and edits were taken of the posts, however all articles were deleted from the forum.

The 2024 Wiki Spam was an incident where the Colonia Wiki was bombarded by bot accounts generating 50+ new pages and a modified main page with AI-written material regarding unrelated topics from February 28th, 2024, through early morning of February 29th, 2024. All posts were taken down and all accounts were banned by [[J0w03L]] noon of the 29th.
The content of the posts were mostly written as fake news articles on random topics, often with cryptocurrency website links embedded. It is unclear what the purpose of the spam was, as the links appeared to be fake or unrelated to the topics. Many of the hyperlinks were randomly added to articles and titled in a format of buzzword-sexualword (ex: crypto porn).

[[Jetpackjbd]] and [[ButterH2]] both modified some of the articles while waiting for them to be removed by a forum moderator. A few screenshots of spam and edits were taken of the posts, however all articles were deleted from the forum.

Sudofox is the server admin of [[Colonia]]. He discovered our world in early 2018 when it was run on a private server, hosted by [[CrownPrince]]. He generously offered to host Colonia as a public server and maintains backups, security plug-ins and oversees Minecraft updates. We are forever in his debt for all he has done to bring Colonia to the outside world!

In-game, Sudofox is also known for his vast and elaborate builds at [[Mount Oswalt]], [[Mine Ops]] and other areas.

Outside of Colonia, Sudofox is well known as the founder of [[Sudomemo]], a replacement for Flipnote Hatena, an online service for Flipnote Studio, a downloadable app on the Nintendo DSi.

Sudomemo is a 3rd-party Flipnote Hatena replacement service created by [[Sudofox]]. It launched in 2014 after the original servers were shut down in 2013. Most of Colonia’s players came from the Sudomemo discord server, as it has been advertised multiple times there. Prior to 2020, Colonia’s in-game chat was linked to the #talk channel of the Sudomemo discord server. Sudofox later removed the feature and whitelisted Colonia, likely due to it causing annoyance within the community. Eventually, Colonia’s chat was linked to the dynamic map on the website and a separate Colonia discord server was created.
