The Colonia Depot is a unique trading system in [[Colonia]] established to be a "one stop" superstore of all materials and items available in the game. It is a work in progress and merchandise is regularly being added. The flagship Colonia Depot store is located in Sentinel Hill, just west of the [[Capital Building]]. A railway station on the [[Jubilee Line]] was added in August 2023 for more direct access. Additional mini-stores are located all across Colonia (see below for store locations).

All Colonia Depot stores sell or purchase materials and items using [[pokos]], Colonia's official currency. One poko equals one emerald. If you can exchange emeralds for pokos at an exchange chest just inside the ground floor entrance to Colonia Depot. You can also exchange emeralds and pokos at any [[Bank of Colonia]] branch.

All merchandise at Colonia Depot is stored in chests and marked with a sell price and a buy price. To buy an item, simply left click on the sell sign on the chest and then, in the chat window, enter the quantity you wish to purchase. The purchase will process as long as you have enough pokos for your purchase and you have room in your inventory for the quantity purchased. To sell an item, simply left click on the buy sign on the chest and then, in the chat window, enter the quantity you wish to sell. You must have that quantity in your inventory and Colonia Depot must have enough funds available for the sale to complete. If not enough funds are available to complete the sale, you or other players will need to buy merchandise in order to increase available funds at Colonia Depot.

You may sell an item to Colonia Depot for approximately 90% of the price it sells at. Colonia Depot uses the 10% cost difference to buy merchandise from villagers and wandering traders. It also helps cover the cost of gathering, transporting and stocking merchandise. Selling and buying items at the Colonia Depot stores is only available on merchandise that is priced with sell/buy signs on the chest. If there are no price signs on the chest, the items inside are NOT available for sale - they are most likely recent donations or new items waiting to be priced. All items are priced at [[Fair Market Value]] by the Colonia Pricing Commission.

Villagers throughout Colonia also buy and sell using emeralds for currency. In most cases, villager trade prices are higher than the prices at Colonia Depot. This is due to their limited quantities and selection of merchandise. In rare cases, villager trade prices may be lower than prices at Colonia Depot.

The Colonia Railway System, also known as CRS, is a network of inter-connected railways. At present there are 15 railway lines and over 225 railway stations. Several stations support 2 or more railways and are known as hub stations. Each railway has a name and uses a unique color of concrete on which the tracks are placed. This is to help identify railways both in-game and when viewing maps. Each station also has a unique name and signs are placed at every station to identify the station name, the railway name(s) and names of up to 12 stations in both directions.

Construction began in December, 2016 - shortly after [[Colonia]] was created. It consisted of a single railway from [[Boathouse Station]] to [[Dark Oak Mountain Fortress (DOMF)]]. Shortly thereafter, it was extended slightly further south to [[Sentinel Hill Station]], which became the first hub station in Colonia. At this point, the railways were given unique names. The original north-south line was named the [[Piccadilly Line]]. Intersecting at [[Sentinel Hill Station]], the [[Jubilee Line]] became the second railway in [[Colonia]] and travels in an east-west direction. These railways originally used stone bricks to place the tracks on. Over the next 6 months, these two railways extended out in both directions and additional railways were added. In June, 2017, Minecraft version 1.12 - The World of Color update launched. Shortly thereafter it was decided to give each railway a unique concrete color to help differentiate the railways visually as well as with names. This meant the entire existing railway system had to be completely rebuilt, changing every block with track on it from stone brick to a concrete colored block. The first railway to receive the color make-over was the [[Piccadilly Line]], which was given the red concrete color. Over time, the remaining railways were redone and extensions to these railways as well as new railways used the new concrete block colors to support the tracks

The first, longest and most important railway in Colonia is the [[Piccadilly Line]], which runs in a north-south direction. Most of the other railways connect to the [[Piccadilly Line]] at some point along its route. The exceptions are the [[Bakerloo Line]] and the [[Dover LIne|Dover Line]]. At most hub stations, a connecting railway will be located above or below the railway you are on. Some stations have railways that run parallel with each other at the same level and on the same station platform. Some examples are [[Dark Oak Mountain Fortress Station]] and [[Sentinel Hill Station]] servicing both the [[Piccadilly Line]] and [[Metro Line]] and [[Lawson Springs Station]] and [[Lawson Village Station]] servicing both the [[Metro Line]] and [[Windsor Line]].

The Colonia Railway System is free to use for all citizens of Colonia. There are no tolls or fees to pay. Minecarts are provided at every station and players are welcome to use the minecarts with two important conditions. First, always remove your minecart when you finish your travels. Second, always return your minecart to the station you depart at. There are chests at every station to store the minecarts. Please do not keep the minecarts in your personal inventory or store them at your base(s). It is expected that every station will have at least 5 minecarts available and hub stations should have 10 or more at each platform.
